Marriage & Sexuality

We believe that marriage is a sacred covenant, created and blessed by God, between one man and one woman as determined by their biological sex at birth (Gen. 2:24; Eph. 5:22-23; Mark 10:6-9; 1 Cor. 7:1-9). This covenant reflects Christ’s relationship with His Church and is designed for His glory and our good. All weddings conducted by or held in spaces under the care of this church will reflect this biblical definition.

 

We believe that God designed sexual intimacy to be a beautiful expression of love and unity within the covenant of marriage. Any sexual activity, identity, or expression outside of this design—regardless of cultural trends—does not align with God’s intended purpose (Gen. 2:24; Gen. 19:5; Lev. 18:1-30; Rom. 1:26-29; 1 Cor. 5:1; 6:9-10; 1 Thess. 4:1-8; Heb. 13:4).

 

We believe that God created each person as male or female, and that these two distinct and complementary genders together reflect His image (Gen. 1:26-27). We affirm that our identity as male or female is a gift from God to be embraced with gratitude and honor.
